NBR O Ring is a circular sealing component made from nitrile rubber (NBR), designed for preventing leakage in mechanical sealing systems. It is installed in a groove between two mating parts and works through elastic compression to form a tight sealing interface.

NBR O Ring is commonly used in hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and general industrial equipment where oil resistance and stable sealing performance are required under moderate operating conditions.

Oil resistance:NBR O Ring provides stable resistance to petroleum-based oils and hydraulic fluids. It maintains sealing integrity when exposed to lubricating oil, engine oil, and fuel-based media, reducing swelling and material degradation during continuous operation.

Sealing performance:NBR O Ring achieves sealing through elastic deformation. When compressed inside a groove, it fills micro-gaps between metal or plastic surfaces and prevents leakage of liquid or gas. Internal pressure further improves contact force and enhances sealing stability.

Temperature resistance:NBR O Ring operates under moderate temperature conditions. It maintains elasticity and sealing force at normal working temperatures. When exposed to higher temperatures, the material may gradually harden, while low temperatures may reduce flexibility.

Compression stability:NBR O Ring maintains sealing force under long-term compression. However, continuous pressure may cause compression set, which reduces elastic recovery over time and affects long-term sealing performance.

Abrasion resistance:NBR material provides stable mechanical performance under friction and repeated compression. It is suitable for sealing environments involving dynamic movement such as hydraulic pistons, valves, and rotating components.

Chemical compatibility:NBR O Ring is compatible with petroleum-based fluids and non-polar media. It is not suitable for strong acids, ketones, ozone exposure, or polar solvents, which may lead to swelling or material failure.

Dimensional stability:NBR O Rings are produced according to standard sizing systems such as metric and AS568. This ensures correct groove fit, stable compression ratio, and reliable sealing performance in industrial assembly systems.
