Product Advantages
1. Material & Sealing Mechanism
FKM O-rings are molded from fluorocarbon rubber (vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer) with reinforcing fillers and curing agents. Sealing occurs via compression: contact stress exceeds medium pressure to block leakage. Failure when compression set >25%, swell >15%, or surface cracks.
2. Thermal & Chemical Resistance
Service: -45℃ to 300℃ continuous, with intermittent peaks up to 250–300°C.. Compatible with 1600+ chemicals incl. mineral oils, fuels, aromatics, ozone. Swell in ASTM Fuel B (40℃×72h) ≤8% (ASTM D471). Not for ketones, esters, amines, fuming nitric acid, superheated steam.
3. Compression Set & Hardness
Hardness: Shore A 70±5 (custom 60~90). Compression set (200℃×70h, 25% compression) ≤30% (ASTM D395). Tensile ≥16MPa, elongation ≥150%.
4. Surface & Dimensional Precision
Cryogenic deflashing (trim ≤0.1mm). Surface Ra ≤1.6μm, no bubbles, cracks, or flash. Tolerances: GB/T 3452.1 M2 (±0.08~±0.13mm for C/S; ID/OD also M2).
5. Standardized Geometry
Circular cross-section, no moving parts. Complies with GB/T 3452.1, AS568, ISO 3601. Standard off-the-shelf, custom per drawing.

Installation & Operation Procedur
This zone outlines the complete standardized operating specifications for O-ring installation, covering pre-assembly inspection, lubrication, mounting methods, compression rate calibration and high-pressure anti-extrusion protection to ensure sealing performance and service life.

01
Pre-installation preparation
Thoroughly clean sealing surfaces to clear contaminants and inspect for scratches, pits or burrs on mating parts.
02
Surface lubrication
Apply compatible fluorinated grease or system oil to O-rings to reduce friction coefficient and avoid surface damage during assembly.
03
Standardized mounting & compression check
Use spiral insertion or tapered sleeves to install rings without twisting; measure gland dimensions to verify compression ratio within standard ranges and test smooth shaft movement.
04
High-pressure protection configuration
For pressure above 10MPa, fit PTFE/PEEK backup rings on the pressure side to control extrusion gaps and stop O-ring extrusion failure
