Can EPDM rubber tubing be used to connect two components?
EPDM tubing can serve as a flexible sleeve or interface between components when the tube dimensions and connection design are suitable. It should not be treated as a pressure-rated hose unless the product is specifically designed and tested for that purpose.
Is EPDM tubing suitable for contact with mineral oil or fuel?
Standard EPDM is generally not recommended for prolonged contact with mineral oils, petroleum fuels, or similar hydrocarbon fluids. NBR or FKM may be more appropriate, depending on the fluid and operating conditions.
Can EPDM tubing be used in an assembly that experiences vibration?
